The mayor of the City of Karlsruhe, Ms. Gabriele Luczak-Schwarz, is Fair Wine Ambassador 2025.
As part of this year’s EUROVINO trade fair on 09. and 10. March 2025 in Karlsruhe, she was presented with this award in the presence of the Managing Director of Messe Karlsruhe, Ms. Britta Wirtz. The organizers of the Fair Wine Awards are thus highlighting their achievements and their commitment to the presentation of sustainable and environmentally friendly wines.
The focus here is primarily on climate and fungus-resistant grape varieties, organic wines and wines made from historical grape varieties, which will play an increasingly important role in German viticulture in the future against the backdrop of a changing climate. “Making these wines visible is a key prerequisite for their success on the German market,” said Denis Duhme at the award ceremony.
